Dá para ter uma ideia da música mas não se ouve a obra na sua totalidade, a sua diversidade e riqueza instrumentais. Em ambos os casos pela mesma razão óbvia: a informação está comprimida e reduzida ao mínimo indispensável. Depois, há coisas em que não há qualquer vantagem em fazer no terreno, como a correcção de verticais paralelas, principalmente nos edifícios. No terreno, a correcção só é possível com uma objectiva de descentramentos, que não acrescenta nada em termos de composição artística. Trata-se, simplesmente, de uma correcção técnica de uma distorção provocada pelo facto de a câmara estar numa posição inclinada para captar o topo do edifício. Isto pode ser feito muito facilmente no Photoshop ou Elements, através da função Correct Camera Distortion, e não fere nada qualquer purista. Tenho que admitir que o computador é uma preciosa ferramenta para completar a nossa fotografia e a tornar merecedora de ser apreciada. O blog tecnologico veio complementar alguma falta de informação a este nivel na propria revista - que não tem essa vocação. O blog tal como os podcast têm artigos na minha perspectiva interessantissimos.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;O mais recente "The Line" refere uma nova funcionalidade do Photoshop CS5 que torna trivial a "manipulação" de imagens (na perspectiva de alteração de conteudos). O video demonstrativo desta funcionalidade no YouTube é digno das séries de ficção cientifica de há uns anos. Evans</title><content type='html'>Recebi, finalmente, o livro "The Photographs of Frederick H. Evans" e estou impressionado pela forma como este fotógrafo do início do Séc. XX pinta com a luz. É absolutamente maravilhoso. As fotografias de interiores, principalmente catedrais em Inglaterra e França, são uma lição e um desafio de como conseguir fotografar este tipo de locais, normalmente escuros, somente com luz natural. Cada fotografia foi estudada ao mais ínfimo pormenor, com várias visitas ao local,&amp;nbsp;durante dias, até conseguir o efeito de luz pretendido, à hora do dia mais indicada. As lentes zoom sofrem (ou beneficiam) de um fenómeno denominado compressão. Este fenómeno provocado pela aproximação dos elementos ópticos das lentes zoom faz com que os vários sujeitos de uma fotografia que estão distantes entre si, em termos de profundidade, pareçam estar à mesma distância relativa, inclusive em relação à objectiva. No concurso fotográfico Wildlife photographer of the year, com um prémio de 10.000 £, promovido pelo Museu de História Natural britânico e pela BBC Wildlife Magazine, um concorrente foi longe demais. Este concorrente, cujo nome não menciono para não gerar mais publicidade, ganhou o primeiro lugar com uma fotografia de um lobo ibérico a saltar uma portada de um terreno. Quando vi a foto achei-a intrigante embora muito interessante. Intrigante porque não imaginava que um lobo desse um salto daqueles. Vejo-os como animais tímidos e cautelosos demais para um salto tão intrépido. Dois meses depois leio a notícia da desclassificação deste concorrente, sendo obrigado a devolver o prémio atribuído. Contudo as revistas e toda a publicidade à volta da fotografia beneficiaram (ou não) este concorrente que não soube respeitar os limites impostos pela seriedade e pela ética. Vários especialistas de vida animal concluíram que um lobo selvagem nunca daria um salto daqueles, em vez disso atravessaria a portada facilmente em vez de se arriscar num tal salto. Provou-se que o concorrente tinha usado e treinado um animal "modelo" - há pessoas que domesticam lobos - para o efeito, violando o espírito do concurso que era o de captar a vida selvagem, e a regra no 10 que o referia explicitamente. Há "n" exemplos infelizes, ainda ontem recebi uma interessante com o texto "Mosteiro dos Jerónimos 1878".&lt;br /&gt;Vinha no meio de um&amp;nbsp;PPT interessante com&amp;nbsp;várias fotos de "Lisboa antiga", e poderia passar à primeira vista. Tenho alguns negativos dos quais não tenho as fotos, algumas fotos das quais não tenho negativos e muitas fotos com negativos. Seleccionei os negativos (com ou sem fotos) que irei digitalizar -181, que irei digitalizar na Colorfoto por 0,60€ a unidade. Seleccionei também 27 fotos de que não tenho negativo cuja digitalização custa 2,06€ a unidade - bem mais caro. Desta forma espero livrar-me de alguma preocupação de não conseguir salvaguardar devidamente este "espólio", que inclui fotos do meu pai, dos meus avós e outros familiares que já não estão entre nós. Por outro lado, permitir-me-á partilhá-lo de forma simples com outros familiares (mãe, irmãos, tios, primos) que não as têm. Não uso muito "ironia" nas fotos que faço, mas nesta não resisti, achei que estavam reunidos todos os infredientes para fazer a primeira tentativa.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Lembro-me que ao ver o "âmbiente" do local, me pus a pensar na melhor forma de transmitir a mensagem relativamente à real importancia dos principais elementos da composição:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;As pessoas&amp;nbsp;"tipicas" do local, normais transeuntes. &lt;br /&gt;O edificio com o "fantástico imponente" Outdoor;&lt;br /&gt;A&amp;nbsp;faxada do edificio com os seus detalhes...;&lt;br /&gt;Ok e até o 1º Starbucks.... &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; Trata-se de uma foto de um modelo feminino nu, deitado de bruços no chão, com as mãos a tapar a cabeça. A luz é extraordinária e o que é mais interessante são as sombras dos estores reflectidas por todo o corpo da mulher, gerando o efeito de uma zebra. Existe uma tira de sombra ao longo de toda a coluna vertebral, o que confere um resultado semelhante a um esqueleto visto num RX. Fotojornalismo). O objectivo é mais especifico&amp;nbsp;(há um tema) facto que pode beneficiar&amp;nbsp;o resultado final, embora tenha algumas duvidas &lt;br /&gt;sobre a consistência final do resultado. Do que vi no "Olhar a Nu", a qualidade da publicação pareceu melhor que no EM I e II, mas achei os trabalhos pouco uniformes em termos de abordagem e qualidade (opinião pessoal obviamente).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Enviei 5 fotos para avaliação no "Olhar a Urbe" (entretanto tive feedback de que estão aprovadas). A escolha não foi fácil, porque é algo relativamente ao qual nunca dediquei muita atenção,&amp;nbsp;embora tenha em mente iniciar um projecto relacionado com as cidades (inspirado provavelmente nas&amp;nbsp;imagens do &lt;a href="http://www.josefhoflehner.com/publications.html"&gt;Josef Hoflehner&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;e no facto de na zona Lisboa/Cascais... ok Setubal,&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; podermos fazer imagens interessantes).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Optei por me centrar em Nova Iorque, com uma excepção - Seattle. Embora tenha outras que acho interessantes e que vou "postar" no &lt;a href="http://www.flickr.com/ruimart11"&gt;flickr&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;um dia destes, não tinha um conjunto minimamente consistente, e apresentar 4 ou 5 de locais completamente distintos, apesar de poderem ser isoladamente interessantes, não contribuiriam em nada para a tal coerência de que falei anteriormente.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Das 5, e caso decida entrar no "Olhar a Urbe" talvez escolha 3.
